Good campaign preparation is 80% of the work when it comes to Google Ads. However, first, you ought to determine your ultimate goal. “That’s easy,”  you’ll say. “I simply want more sales.” But you don’t need me for that. If you want more sales, lower your prices, and make your service the cheapest one.

This is not a game-winning goal.

A profitable goal should be precise and within a reasonable time frame. Take a look at the following examples of such goals:

“I want to increase my sales by 10% in the next 3 months.”

“I want the number of leads to be the same, with a lower cost per conversion in the next two months.”

In this way, we define precisely and realistically what we need to do and when.

We will easily modify the goal as we go, but for starters, let’s go with something that initially makes sense. I’ve had cases where a client would say: “I want to double my profit on a $300 budget.” This is possible if their profit were $500. In that case, an easily reached target would be around $750.

Process of conducting your business campaign

The process is quite simple.

Once I have received your email in which you provided information about yourself and your business (mail, name, site),

I start by analysing the site with the help of my tools. I check the speed on both versions of the site (mobile and desktop). I look at the structure of H tags and for missing titles and descriptions on the landing page. I check the density of CTA buttons on the pages. I also review the temporary copy on the landing page. The final evaluation of the copy is done by users. If they read the text on the page and do not take any action, then the problem is in the copy.

After that, I will let you know if we can start the campaign or not. This largely depends on whether the site was properly made in the first place. If there are too many mistakes and visible errors, you’ll get my feedback. Naturally, it’s up to you whether you agree to get the site fixed. However, since such site issues often prove to have costly and bad results, I never proceed with advertising in these cases.

When we agree on that, I start with keyword, market, and competitor research. Depending on the product/service and the search volume for it, we decide which campaign format will be used. If the search volume is high (at least 200 searches per month), we consider a Search campaign. If it’s low, we disable that option. We cannot offer what’s not wanted. Then we are left with other ad formats such as video ads, banners, P Max, etc.

The next step is access to accounts. These accounts are necessary for us to cooperate: Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Microsoft Clarity. You’ll need to give me access to different admin levels. If you happen not to have one of these accounts, we will create them together.

Connecting all these accounts is our next move. Only a full set of tools can foster their cooperation. It will help them achieve the best possible results and receive insights for business improvement.

Then we create conversions. They must be set right in the Google Ads account. There is no compromise. The campaign can’t be launched online if the conversions are not created and tested properly first.

Only now have we come to the final part, which is the creation and release of the campaign on the network.

In life, we rarely get a second chance, but on Google Ads, it is guaranteed. Gather all the unconvinced audience members and try to reintroduce yourself to them once more.

Performance Insights

I will monitor campaign performance day by day and optimise it to meet the agreed goal. Nothing is left to chance, and everything is done according to plan.

Google Ads Results

I have achieved some great results that I am very proud of in these few years. The best result I had was 83x ROAS.

Of course, I’m happy when I get good numbers, but what drives me even more is that the results are constant and steadily improving from month to month. That is also the hardest part.
